Treatment for the whole of our film
Whilst investigating the death of a local cursed nurse
called Rosemary Bloggs there seems to be a supernaturally-cursed, reflecting
mirror circulating throughout a desolate haunted house. As soon as anyone uses
the mirror, he or she has exactly 7 days left to live, unless they can kill
what lays beneath the doomed mirror...Whilst looking in the mirror everything
seems normal, however you’re not the only one looking in the mirror. When
photographed you’re not alone...the moment the flash hits the mirror everything
becomes translucent. A cursed person feels macabre and unsafe. Will this happen
to everyone who looks in the mirror? Rosemary gets hold of the Mirror, refusing
to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: an
ominous ghost balancing on an abomination, an old newspaper headline about a
possessed little girl, a hooded old lady rocking in a chair in an empty
room…When Rosemary notices her body is no longer her body anymore she realises
that the curse of the reflecting mirror is true and screams for her mother
Esme. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the
ominous ghost balancing on an abomination. She joins the queue for a
supernatural adventure. Rosemary and Esme pursue a quest to uncover the meaning
of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded old lady. They start by
contacting supernatural investigators to get some answers about who the hooded
lady and why she connects to this mirror. However, none of them had answers,
they had only fear. This mirror was frightening them so much they refused to
help Rosemary and Esme, in fact, they cursed her and the mirror to be trapped
together forever. This distress caused tension between the two women. They were
fighting more than before and they felt like they were getting nowhere with the
investigation. However, Rosemary had an epiphany. She didn’t think of the
mirror as a mirror anymore, instead she thought of it as a gateway to another
dimension. So instead of neglecting the mirror, she embraced it. This however,
she had to do alone. This upset Esme but she did understand, she knew the
danger Rosemary was in, but she knew it wasn’t her fight. As Rosemary walked
towards the mirror, whispers from the old lady shrouded her body like a thick
fog, creating dense air around her making it hard for her to breathe. Rosemary
took one look back, smiled at Esme and stepped into the abyss of the mirror.
She suddenly appeared at the nurses’ home, but instead of being inside the
house, she was inside the mirror looking into the home. She sees everything,
the moment the nurse looks into the mirror, the distress she went through for
the 7 days after, and the old lady, now appearing as a demon claiming the
nurse. Yet all of this seems like it took seconds. The demon turns round and
heads towards Rosemary, teeth snarling and repeating a dead language to
Rosemary. She knew she was going to die, but it wasn’t without a fight. She
starts flailing at the mirror, cracking it, and after one hard kick, the mirror
shatters into thousands of pieces. She was now trapped with the demon, forever…
